Are You Prepared?

Nate and I finally got all of our food storage (or most of it). We have been researching it and trying to figure out how much and what to get. I realized a couple of things in the process- I don't know how to make things from scatch like bread with wheat, I don't want to rotate my food storage, and I don't want to have to build a new room in my house to store it all. That is when we discovered Daily Bread. My parents bought it and then refered us and we loved the whole idea. They have freeze dried food with a 30+ year shelf life that is actually food we would eat like lasagna, spagetti, teriyaki chicken, and of course mac and cheese. We have now sampled almost all the food and I have to tell you it tastes just like anything you would get from the sotre. My kids liked it. Best of all, you don't have to open 3 or 4 different cans of your storage to prepare one meal. After we got ours we believed in the cause and the company so much that Nate and I are now distibutors of Daily Bread. I know this seems like a shameless plug for our little business idea but I know with how crazy our economy is right now and could be later, (costco and walmart are rationing rice and flour) I really feel like now is the time to prepare. What could be worse than to have your little kids crying at night because they are hungry? If you want to learn more you can call me and I can get you some free samples or you can go online and read more at www.dailybreadus.com

So nothing new is happening to blog about.

We are so boring around here. I have been feeling so gross and sick lately that we haven't been anywhere or done anything in weeks. This pregnancy is definatly taking its toll on my social life. I think there is a reason you have your kids at a younger age. It's easier when you're young. I feel so old, even though I know I'm not, but I swear, I just can't help but think that it wasn't this bad in my early twenties. Plus the weight is just piling on. Im going to be huge!!! I can't wait (just like the rest of Utah) for the warm weather to come and STAY!!! I might actually feel better if I could get out and feel the sun on my face. This winter was long and hard. So we are trying to plan a trip to Disneyland in a few weeks. That will be nice, except for the drive. We are also looking for a new car. Any suggestions? We need a third row seat, obviously but Nate won't even consider a van. He wants an SUV but I don't want to pay for the gas. If you love your car and can convince me to go that route, blog me back and give me adivce. Also, if you want to read a funny blog check out my brothers blog from time to time. He just started one and I know he will put up hilarious stuff (maybe gross and inappropriate at times). It's biggerb75.blogspot.com or just link to it by mine under Brad. Happy reading!!!
