Thoughtful and loving. Authority figures probably have been sheltering you all of your life. Thankfully you're a very tranquil person who is content with what life has given you, but secretly you want to know how the outside world works.

Happy Birthday America!!!

We started out the day with the annual neighborhood parade. It was so fun to help the kids decorate their bikes and get ready for the parade. We only go around our block and end at the park for a BBQ, so it's not too long but the kids love it. We have the best neighbors. We probably had 150+ people in our own little parade. I love the 4th of July. It's almost as good as Christmas!

After the parade we took the Fam boating at Utah Lake. It was refreshing on this 100+
degrees day. My dad and Noah boarded and we swam. It was fun to get out in the sun and laugh a bit!!

Stadium of Fire! So we had the best night. The concert was awsome, the fireworks rocked as usual, the kids all screamed for Miley, I cried during the National Anthem and during every tribute to our soldiers, and we had a great spot for parking that got us home in record time. If you missed the show this year I feel for you because in all the years we have been coming this was one of the BEST ones!! I LOVE being an AMERICAN! I love our FREEDOM! I love all that the USA stands for. I hope we never take it for granted and be grateful for those who have and are still sacrificing for us!! GO RED, WHITE, and BLUE!!!

American Girl Party!!!

Yesterday was the opening of the American Girl Movie: Kit Kittredge. American Girl Dolls are HUGE where we live and as of last Christmas, Addison is addicted. My friends had a party before the movie. We had great food and the girls all played dolls and some games like American Girl Bingo. When it was time to go to the show My friend Addie had candy for all the girls to take and of course a tiny box of candy for your doll. I really didn't know much of what the movie was about and I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked it. It is about a family trying to survive during the 1930's and the hard times of the depression. Kit's family takes in borders to help pay their mortgage. She is an aspiring journalist and writes about all the things happening in her world at this time. I would say take the whole family. It's not just for girls. It's a really great show and very thought provoking for young kids. Addison had questions the entire show about Hobo's and people loosing their houses. The funniest part of the whole night was when we first walked into the theater, the rows were just filled with girls holding their dolls and getting so excited to see who had what doll. A strange new world for me but very, very fun!!!
